2001-Present
Chairman of the Board of James L. Martin LLC, a diversified insurance agency located in Naples, Florida and a principal and founding member of Physicians Medical Solutions, a financial consulting firm specializing in asset protection and deferred compensation for doctors. Mr. Martin has been an insurance agent for over 40 years, a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and he specializes in financial planning and the procurement of insurance for difficult risks.

1964-2001 
Mr. Martin started his insurance career as a service coordinator and subsequently became the owner of the Smith-Lesher Insurance Agency and more recently, the owner of James L. Martin, Inc. which was eventually merged with the Riedman Insurance Agency.

Charitable Work
Mr. Martin was the co-founder of Hospice of Naples, Florida, the past Chairman of the Moorings Park Retirement Community and Chairman of the Board of Christ School for Boys in Arden, North Carolina. Mr. Martin was also Co-Chairman of the American Heart Association's Heart Ball in 2003, and will serve in that capacity again in 2004. Mr. Martin has been associated with numerous other charitable organizations over the years and is the past Chairman of the Finance Committee of the First Presbyterian Church.

Family - married with two daughters and three grandchildren. Honorable discharge from the Army after serving in Korea. Former professional football player with the Cleveland Browns.
